A burglers dream. Positive: The apartment was exceptional.The beds and pillows are so welcomingly comfortable.Almost everything you could hope for was available except a dryer after washing your clothes.The apartment is also very well positioned with it being a brisk 5+minutes walk into town but far enough out to be perfectly quiet too.We loved it. Negative: No drying facility for clothes after washing them but the really big issue was with security of the apartment.There are no latches on any windows so no way to secure what are easy to open sash windows.Acess can be gained by climbing onto the balcony at the front and straight into the apartment but even easier again is the back bedroom.This has a very quiet road with open parking space beneath an easily climbed flat roof which in turn leads up onto a tiny pitched roof right up to the bedroom window that offers no resistance to anyone attempting to burgle it. As we were out on long coastal cliff hikes every day it wasn't safe to leave anything of value in the apartment which is one of thesin readons for renting a property in the first place so we had to take everything with us daily (passports,car & house keys,bank cards and spare cash) for safe keeping which was far from ideal and brought its own problems and worries. There were also 3 nights we arrived back to find the front door left open and one morning we also woke to find the same situation so obviously the door closer is not doing its job adequately and needs replacing.The last fault was the hall lighting wasn't on from the second night of our stay in what is an extremely dark hall and stairwell.For some unexplainable reason not even the emergency lighting was on which is a very serious breach of safety.These are issues that would need to be dealt wit as a matter of extre urgency.It is unfortunate that safety & security are of zero importance to the owner of this building/apartment but if they address the issues raised then this is a 10/10 stay all day every day and value for money. Unfortunately because of the fear and stress due to the safety & security issues we didn't think it was either good value or recommendable on this occasion which is a pity because we visit Whitby annually and thought at first we had found somewhere to rent for our future trips.

The apartment was great and waking distance to Whitby town centre was ideal Positive: Property was fine everything clean and what you needed. Negative: Only downside was parking due to no spaces out side property but can understand were situated.

Last minute booking but a great surprise of an apartment very spacious with good quality decor Positive: Beautiful apartment well looked after Negative: The hairdryer is still missing despite several people’s comments over the last couple of months. No scissors found in the kitchen

Positive: We had a brilliant stay here. The apartment is even better than it looks in the photos. Everywhere is spotless and the beds are so comfortable. The living room is huge and there were plenty of places of sit and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Parking was also fine we managed to find a spot on the street and I noticed a fair few spaces around. Location is excellent you're about a 10 minute walk from the beach and because the apartment is not right in the centre it is nice and quiet. Overall we had an excellent stay and would love to be able come back one day! Negative: Nothing!

Positive: The location was perfect, fantastic apartment clean and spacious perfect for my adult family. Parking was on road side but close to property. Highly recommend Negative: There was a hairdryer missing but not an issue. I let the owner know when we left and he was going to replace ready for the next visitors.
