Property is great for access to the town but not great for parking Positive: Excellent location very close to the main centre of Whitby with quick and easy access to most areas, beach, bars and restaurants, railway station and co op Negative: The parking is very difficult and we struggled to get anywhere close that was free

A brilliant place to stay for the main parts of sightseeing in Whitby. Positive: Proximity to the harbour and plentiful ammenities. There was space to park directly outside the propery all week. Rooms big and spacious. Welcome pack with milk and biscuits was good. Internet tv was good. Negative: House felt cool and slightly damp. Downstairs carpets were dirty (although hoovered). Bed up on top floor was not comfy, matress v soft- personal taste I know. Small thing, but no oven glove. No Live TV available.

The property is in an excellent location however the lack of attention to the cleaning of the property lets it down Positive: The location Negative: On arrival we could smell damp When we opened the fridge it was dirty so we had to clean it before use The crockery in the cupboard hadn’t been cleaned properly In the bedrooms there was cobwebs and rubbish in one of the drawers and hair in the bed The shower head was covered in black mould so again we had to clean it When we emptied the bin in the kitchen there was grime in the bottom of it

Positive: Location was great Plenty of room for 6 of us Clean Negative: No outdoor seating Parking is available but is very tight, need to park close to a wall so other vehicles can pass, best to reverse park Lock box was awkward to use
