The facilities and location of the property, make it an ideal place to stay in Whitby. Definitely visiting again. Positive: Immaculately clean and very tastefully decorated.

Fantastic place! Positive: Wow, what a house! Everything was just fantastic, very clean, super well equipped kitchen, modern decor. There are fantastic views over to the Abbey and the river beyond the boatyard. My little boy was over the moon to be right next to the railway line! Best self-catering accommodation we've ever stayed in, hands down! Negative: I hate that I can't go straight back!

Positive: The house was beautiful with modern and contemporary decor. The patio was ideal for the good weather we had. Only a 5 minute walk in to the town. Although it's by a railway line, the frequency of the train was minimal and the heritage steam train was a sight to behold. With 3 bedrooms and well equipped kitchen, it is the ideal property for a family. Would definitely recommend. Negative: Nothing

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Fair Winds as a family group (3 adults, plus a 17 and 11 year old). Everyone thought the accommodation was amazing. Great location within easy walking distance of the town centre and car parking right outside the house. A rare thing in Whitby! The house is beautifully furnished, very stylish, and has everything needed in the kitchen if you don’t want to eat out all the time. The outdoor space is right next to the train line allowing for close up views of the passing steam train. The upstairs balcony gives great views of the Abbey and is a relaxing spot on an evening if the weather is fine. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and we would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.
