Love Whitby? great place to stay for your visit Positive: Excellent location for Whitby town, easily walkable to the shops, beach and of course the 199 steps to the Abbey Negative: Parking in Whitby can be a challenge, however the accommodation do provide free parking permits which worked well for our family with three cars!

Positive: Great location. Negative: The two top bedrooms had not been cleaned so used towels and sheets were in there. Living room and stairs hadn’t been hoovered. Quickly sorted after a phone call though. Sink in main bedroom very narrow, difficult to use for cleaning teeth!

it was enjoyable Positive: The location was very good Negative: stains on the carpet and quite a few things were broken (toilet roll holder, radiator panel) not enough hanging space for clothes no wardrobes either

A lovely stay for a birthday Positive: A beautiful house with great facilities. Super close to the town. Good number of bathrooms for large group. Lovely kitchen for cooking. Negative: We did get parking tickets (not the house's fault) so read instructions on permits better than we did. Top bedroom door was stuck but caretaker came and fixed within 20 mins. Could have done with a sweep outside as a previous guest must have smoked and put butts in the flower pot. No off the lead area for dog in case this important for some people and house is down an alleyway with a step leading down the lane.

Fabulous family weekend Positive: The location and the size of the house was good for a family of 8 Negative: Some of the springs in the mattresses seemed to have gone. The standard of cleaning in some areas could be improved
