Roslyn House - Pateley Bridge

Perfection! Positive: Fantastic property, well presented and generous bedrooms for everyone, having a bathroom each was a bonus! Kitchen is a great space. Negative: Radiators in two of the upstairs bedrooms were not working but they had supplied electric heaters which ensured we still remained toasty.

Excellent large family holiday to celebrate a 70th birthday Positive: House very clean and spacious. Loved that the family could sit round the large island or dining table big enough for all 11 of us. Negative: The mattress could have been a little softer.

A great stay with long term friends. We loved the house, and we loved Pately Briidge.We will be back Positive: The location was perfect to walk into the small town and access the pubs, restaurants and shops. The house is incredibly well stocked with everything you might need for 12 people. The decor is lovely in every room. We especially loved the large dining table where we spent a long time sitting, chatting and enjoying the company. Attention to detail. Negative: The cleanliness wasn’t 100% with cobwebs in the downstairs loo, window frames in bedrooms not clean. The toilet door in the big king size room first floor doesn’t close and the toilet seat is completely the wrong size. We arrived in the pouring rain and a large pool of water soon gathered in the doorway which we mopped . A door mat would be useful because we had wet footprints all the way through the hall leaving it slippy and dangerous. More tea towels would be good.

Very enjoyable once we'd found it! Positive: No breakfast provided. Excellent location, although booking.com gave wrong address - 9 High Street (which is a butchers!) instead of 9 King Street. Negative: More power points & dressing table lights in main bedroom.

It could have been good if the electrics had been sorted. needed a few extra comforts bedroom chair Negative: The dining room was inadequate and cold The electrics were horrendous until fixed!
