Great value spacious house to meet up with friends in lovely Whitby Positive: Great location and great sized house for our group of 9 friends. Excellent value. Spacious and sociable lounge/dining/kitchen area on the ground floor which meant we could all be in the same space chatting/watching the Ryder cup!! We had a fabulous weekend. Negative: I'd say 7/10 for cleanliness - it wouldn't take much to improve this and make a difference. Street parking is also quite hard to understand when you have a large party. One of our group got a parking ticket, despite buying a 2 day parking pass - turned out it was for off street and not street parking......

Great holiday with family & friends. Would book again. Positive: Great location. Excellent facilities for a group stay. Big, light & airy rooms Negative: We had an electrical problem on the 2nd & 3rd floor, however, this was resolved quickly. Only 1 half of the toaster worked. The towels could have been a larger size. In one of the bedrooms there was nowhere to hang your clothes. The parking could have been explained prior to arrival as we didn’t realise there were scratch cards & dis cs until we entered the property .

Great location, comfy beds. Prompt response to minor problems Positive: The location was perfect for walking into town and for getting to Whitby pavilion. Beds were comfy, beautifully decorated. Negative: No curtains on side windows in attic room. Parking was tricky with two cars but we worked it out. Could do with a full length mirror in the property

Positive: Great location, very close to the heart of Whitby. The house itself is lovely, very spacious and nice furnishings making it a pleasant place to stay. Bed sheets and towels were clean. Negative: The house could do with a deep clean as there's thick dust all over the blinds and skirting boards and the kitchen bin smelt terrible even with nothing in it. Windows would also benefit from a clean so guests could enjoy the nice views.
