Cosy Coastal Apartment 2

Lovely. Positive: The apartment was a little hard to find with the directions. However this was our fault, we couldn't fathom it. However a quick call to the host & all was explained. We found it with no further issues. The keys was left in a key box. They are currently renovating the entrance to the property which we was informed about before arrival. It didn't effect our stay & we appreciated the host informing us. The host kindly allowed us an earlier check in & later check out. We appreciated this as we travelled by train. The apartment is in a fantastic location. And although on a busy main road very little traffic noise. A slight view of the sea from the living room was lovely. The apartment is spread over a few floors which we didn't find an issue. Felt nice that although we were with family, had private space also. The apartment is very clean and well presented. The washing up liquid & hand washes was handy. Would definatley stay in this apartment again. Negative: The external door to the property locked from the inside and jammed. We was unable to get out. A call to the host & the cleaner came and let us out. Again this wasn't an issue for us as it was sorted quickly and effectively however I do think its bad in case of a fire. There was only that one way out.

Fabulous Apartment in a great location Positive: Within walking distance of the town centre, great place to stay with a fabulous home from home feel which includes everything you need. Two good sized bedrooms with really comfortable beds, so guaranteed a good nights sleep. Split on two levels with quite a few stairs, which didn’t affect us at all. We’ve stayed here twice this year and look forward to staying again next year, would definitely recommend. Negative: Stairwell in need of some TLC and a darker carpet would definitely help with all the wear and tear, especially with it being used as the main entrance to both apartments.

Get together with friends. Positive: The apartment is nice and comfortable, well presented. Comfortable beds. Negative: We were a group of late 60's early 70's and the stairs were a bit of a challenge. The water pressure in the shower wasn't very good 😕 and the shower being over the bath was also a bit of an obstacle, but that has helped us with future stays. However, these issues were personal to us, I would recommend the property for those with less mobility issues as it was very comfortable, in a great location and quiet.
